Oak Mountain Media began as a collaborative idea between senior Ryan Hall and teacher John Milton in the summer of 2018. Ryan wanted to find a way to restart and re-imagine a Television Production class at Oak Mountain High School. After several years of Oak Mountain High School having no broadcast or television program, he felt it was time to start again.
After 14 years of teaching everything from World History to Economics, John Milton was excited and ready for the challenge of starting a new program. Together, and with the help of many students, the Oak Mountain High School Administration, and some amazing sponsors, Oak Mountain Media became a reality as a full-fledged production program.
